What does a Condominium Unit Owners Policy Cover?
When the condominium/association insures the structure, a unit owner policy is written to cover the unit owner for:
1. Items not covered by the association master policy
2. The value of building additions or alterations made by you, at your expense.
3. Damage to your unit that is not covered due to the master policy deductible.
Your Personal Property Coverage
Your condominium unit owners policy will protect your personal property against loss or damage from a number of perils, including, but not limited to: fire, lightning, theft, windstorm, weight of snow, ice and sleet, smoke damage, vandalism, power surges, etc.
Your policy will include a deductible. Increasing your deductible will lower your premiums. Please ask our team members for guidance.
